Ingredients
For the patties
- 1 jar of organic Prosain chickpeas, drained
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of flour or breadcrumbs
- 1 clove of garlic
- A few sprigs of parsley
- ½ teaspoon of cumin
- A little oil for cooking
- Salt and pepper
For the sauce
- 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon of tahini, optional
- A squeeze of lemon juice
- A small drizzle of olive oil
- A few mint leaves or chopped parsley, optional
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
- Drain the chickpeas.
- Place them in a blender with the egg, flour or breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, and cumin.
- Blend coarsely to maintain some texture.
- Season with salt and pepper, then shape into about six patties.
- Heat a little oil in a pan.
- Cook the patties for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing the yogurt, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, and herbs.
- Adjust the seasoning, then serve with the patties.
Tip
Let the mixture rest for a few minutes before shaping the patties if it seems too soft.
